ཀུ་ལ་ཡག Kulha

རི་མོ་འདིའི་ནང་དོན་གཙོ་བོ་ནི་མི་རིགས་ཉམས་རྒུད་ལ་འགྲོ་བཞིན་པ་སྟེ་རྒུད་ཀྱི་རྣམ་པ་དེ་རེད། གནམ་མཁའ་སྤྲིན་གྱིས་བཏིབས་པ། དྭངས་མོ་མིན་པ། རྒྱབ་ལྗོངས་ཀྱི་ཁོར་ཡུག་འདི་ལའང་སྤང་ནར་གྱིན་པའི་རྣམ་པ། ས་འདི་ཉམས་ནས་འགྲོ་བཞིན་པའི་རྣམ་པ། མཆོད་རྟེན་དང་དར་ལྕོག་ཀྱང་ཞིག་རུལ་དུ་སོང་བ། དར་ལྕོག་ཟད་པོ་གསར་དུ་བརྗེས་མེད་པའི་རྣམ་པ་སོགས་བྲིས་ཡོད།

སྦྲ་ནག་ཡིན་ན་རྒུད་བཞིན་པའི་རྣམ་པ་སྟེ། ང་ཚོའི་ཕ་ཡུལ་ན་ཁྱིམ་ཚང་དར་ནས་བསྡད་ཡོད་པ་ཞིག་ཡིན་ན། སྦྲ་ནག་འཐེན་ནོའི་བཟོ་ལྟ་ལ་བལྟས་ན་ཤེས་ཐུབ་ཟེར་སྲོལ་ཡོད། དེ་བས་འདི་ནི་སྦྲ་ནག་ཕུབ་པ་ཧ་ཅང་སྟབས་བདེ་དང་མར་ལོག་ལ་ཉེ་བའི་རྣམ་པ་ཞིག་བྲིས་ཡོད། མཐར་ཐུག་ན་ཆ་ཚང་གིས་རྒུད་ཀྱི་རྣམ་པ་མཚོན་པ་ཞིག་བྲིས་ཡོད།

The primary focus of this painting is to evoke Tibet’s declining cultural traditions. This is shown in a cloudy and dim sky, eroded meadow, decaying stupa, and old and torn prayer flag. The black yak-fur tent itself is also in poor condition—in our hometown, you can tell if a family is flourishing by the degree to which their tent is tightly stretched and upright; here the tent is pitched simply and is about to fall. Essentially, everything portrays the state of decline. 

Kulha (ཀུ་ལ་ཡག) is a female painter and multi-media artist from Amdo.
